Hi, I’m Helen, founder of Tots Play and I run classes in the
Cardiff and Newport areas.

I live between Cardiff and Newport with my husband and daughter, and worked in retail and leisure management for many years before becoming a mum. Being able to spend those crucial early years at home with my daughter was the reason for a change of career into the arena of pre-school activities, and now I can’t imagine doing anything else!

After more than five years experience of running classes for the under fives in both the UK and abroad I wanted to take the best of all the classes and activities I had been involved with and bring them together in a programme that would provide sessions that were stimulating, engaging and lots of fun for both children and their special adult
– and so Tots Play was born.

My aim is to make Tots Play one of the highlights of your week! To provide a bright, fun and loving environment, where every parent or carer of a young child can spend special time playing, laughing, learning and enjoying being with their little one, and sharing in their amazing achievements. In short, to experience the same joy and wonder as I did, and still do, as my daughter grows up. I also try to provide lots of ideas for ways to continue your play time at home.

Payment Details for Classes and Parties

Baby Development Course

Course of 6 classes plus Workbook, CD, Bottle of Massage Oil (full course benefit only):
£50 per child (discount for twins).

A £10 deposit will be required upon booking to secure your place.

The balance should be paid prior to the start of the course or at the first class.

Weekly Classes
Class fees are £4.50 per class (£2.50 per additional sibling), payable in blocks that run roughly with the school terms (usually 5 or 6 classes per block). If your schedule is such that you are unable to make it to class every week, but would still like to attend on a regular basis, we have a very limited number of standby places available for each class. Standby places for individual classes must be booked and paid for in advance and will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so it is not guaranteed that a place will be available at every class you request. The class fee for standby places is £5.25 (£2.75 per additional sibling). If you feel that this is the best option for your situation please ask for more details of how to book standby places.

Cash or cheque can be accepted at the class or there is a facility on this site to allow payment by Debit/Credit Cards if you prefer to use that method.

Parties

Prices start from £70 for a one hour party, for a maximum of 20 children. (£20 non refundable Deposit Required at time of booking) Longer sessions are available on request. Please ask for details.

Please note that no bookings will be guaranteed until the Deposit has been paid.

Areas Covered

We are happy to travel to most areas in Cardiff, Newport and the surrounding area, however areas outside a 10 mile radius of Rogerstone, Newport will incur an additional fee to cover travel costs.
