Carol Roughton

Hello! My name is Carol and I run Tots Play in the Solihull area.  I live with my partner Tom and our little girl, Felicity. 

I have been working with children for over 10 years as a teacher and have a big passion for the Early Years.  Discovering Tots Play has made me even more of a champion for the importance of play in helping young children to learn, develop and of course have lots of fun!

I first heard about Tots Play when a friend recommended it to me during maternity leave.  I had tried a few different classes but was looking for something new and wanted to make the most of that precious time with my little one.  I booked on for a trial with Felicity and never looked back. We loved going to class each week to see our friends and of course Totsy monkey!  What I loved the most about Tots Play was the variety of activities on offer.  Within each class there is a great mix of music and singing, massage, yoga, sign language and sensory play. 

Tots Play classes are suitable for new born babies up to pre-school age children.  Whatever the age of your little one, we have the perfect class for you! Our classes are also full of play ideas that you can recreate at home to continue having fun while supporting your baby's development and creating a special bond.  Our class sizes are kept small so you will be able to get to know other mummies and daddies with children of a similar age to yours in a caring and friendly environment.  You will of course always find a big warm welcome from myself and Totsy each week too!
