Angharad Tay

Hiya everyone! My name is Angharad. I live in Glynneath with my husband Stuart and three children Ffion, Iestyn and Griff. I will be running classes in the Neath area for all you parents, grandparents, and carers of young tots to come and enjoy.

I am a qualified teacher and have been teaching for over 10 years. I have lots of experience of dealing with children of all ages as a mother to three youngsters and a teacher to teenagers and young adults. It is my passion and love of teaching that has led me to Tots Play. (without the marking!!)

While on maternity leave with my third child I became rather frustrated with the lack of classes to attend with my very young baby in my local area. I wasn’t the kind of mother who wanted to stay in the house, I needed to get out and talk to other mothers - for my sanity!! But I had to travel 35 minutes to attend a class that I saw suitable, that was engaging for both me and my then 6 week old baby. I had a light bulb moment during that first class - I needed to set up something closer to home that was every class my child and I needed - but in one! This led me to Tots Play as it IS that class.  

The classes I attended were invaluable in the social sense for both me and my baby. These classes are where you make new friends who share experiences and become an excellent support network - you realise you are not the only ones going through this - because let’s be honest - raising a baby is not easy! After some lovely play experiences and a catch up in the cafe round the corner after class though, you all feel so much better.

I am so very excited to be able to offer Tots Play classes in the Neath area and look forward to welcoming you all; babies, toddlers, and grown ups. I bring all my experience as a teacher and a mother to help and support you and your little one to learn and develop in a fun environment where time spent together will be quality time - away from distractions, where you can really connect and enjoy your time together. Another great thing about Tots Play is that you will pick up lots of ideas at classes to take away and replicate at home, for even more fun play times!!
