Tamworth Terms and Conditions
By booking or attending a class or event with Tots Play Tamworth, you agree to the following
terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before registering.
Monthly Subscription Terms
∙Payments are collected on the 1st of each month.
∙If joining mid-month, a pro-rata payment will be taken for the remaining sessions
that month, with the regular monthly amount beginning the following month.
∙If your payment details change, please notify us by email so we can update your
account.
∙We will contact you if a payment fails. If unpaid after 14 days, your subscription will
be cancelled and your child removed from the register.
∙To cancel your place, email lisag@totsplay.co.uk. Verbal or social media requests
cannot be accepted.
∙A minimum of two weeks’ notice is required for cancellation.
Missed Classes
∙No refunds or transfers are offered for missed classes.
∙At the class leader’s discretion and subject to availability, you may attend another
class within the same calendar month. This cannot be carried over unless the missed
session is the final class of the month.
∙Please confirm with your class leader before attending a different class.
∙Baby Development Courses run in 6-week blocks and are non-refundable for missed
sessions. Catch-ups may be offered during the same week at an alternative venue,
subject to availability.
∙If your class is cancelled by the class leader, you will be informed of the options to
make up the session.
∙If classes are cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., COVID-19
restrictions), sessions may be delivered online. In this case, no refunds or carry-
overs will be given.
Clothing Guidelines
∙Please wear comfortable play clothes suitable for movement and activity.
∙Discovery Tots: You may bring a blanket or mat for your baby.
∙Social Tots: Bare feet or non-slip socks/slippers are encouraged.
∙Action Tots: Bare feet or non-slip socks/slippers are encouraged.Please remove any
jewellery (except small stud earrings) from children. Adults should avoid wearing
dangling jewellery during activities.
Photography & Video
∙We may occasionally take photographs or video clips for marketing purposes (e.g.
social media, website, promotional materials). You will always be asked for consent
first. No names or personal information will be shared without your permission.
∙You are welcome to take photos of your own child but please ask permission before
photographing other children.
Safety Information
∙Children must be supervised at all times. Do not allow them near equipment unless
instructed by the class leader.
∙Always follow the guidance of your class leader, including venue rules and any
public health protocols.
∙No food or drinks during sessions, except for babies being breast, bottle, or tube-fed.
∙You may be required to follow additional safety measures (e.g. hand
washing/sanitising, distancing, venue signage) in line with government guidance.
∙Tots Play is not liable for incidents resulting from failure to follow safety
instructions.
∙Participation in classes and use of equipment is at your own risk. Insurance for your
child is included in your class fee.
Class Behaviour Expectations
To maintain a positive and inclusive environment:
∙Any disruptive or harmful behaviour should be addressed immediately by the
attending adult.
∙Please keep adult conversations to free play time.
∙Phones must remain on silent and only be used for emergencies or pre-approved
photography.
∙Tots Play reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed
inappropriate. Any remaining class fees will be refunded in such cases.
If Your Child Doesn’t Participate
∙Children are encouraged but never forced to join in.
∙It can take a few weeks for some children to settle. Some prefer to watch or listen
before getting involved.
∙Your enthusiastic participation helps encourage your child to engage.
∙Regular attendance helps your child become more familiar and confident in the
sessions over time.
Health and Attendance
∙Only attend if both you and your child are well.
∙Do not attend if you or your child has had a fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, cold
symptoms, or COVID-19 symptoms in the past 48 hours.
∙We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone showing signs of illness, particularly
COVID-19 symptoms.
Infection Control
∙Enhanced cleaning and hygiene protocols are in place, following the latest
government guidance and carried out by your class leader.
COVID-19 Disclaimer & Acceptance of Risk
∙While every effort is made to follow distancing and hygiene guidelines, this is not
always possible in sessions with young children.
∙By attending, you accept the risk of exposure and understand that while precautions
are taken, total risk elimination is not possible.
Data Protection & Privacy
∙We follow UK data protection regulations, including GDPR.
∙Your data is used solely to provide the services we offer and is processed in
accordance with our Privacy Policy.
∙Tots Play UK Ltd is the data controller for bookings via our website.
∙Bookings made through Class4Kids are jointly controlled by Tots Play UK Ltd,
Class4Kids, and the franchisee (Lisa at Tots Play Tamworth).
∙Communications via email, phone, or social media are jointly controlled by Tots
Play UK Ltd and your class leader.
∙You have full data protection rights, including the right to access, amend, or delete
