Hi I’m Terry

I live in Bexhill on Sea with my husband Simon and our daughter Alice. We share a house with Pepper the cat and Dexter the Westie. We are under no illusion that they are in charge!

I have worked in retail and pharmacy for 25 years but after having our long awaited daughter in 2017 I realised that there were more important things in life. I really enjoyed going to groups with Alice and watched how they developed her in to a confident toddler. We still, months after finishing the course, sing the songs at home and do some of the tasks. When Simon came and joined in I found myself helping the class leader and thinking to myself that it felt right being there. I knew that this was something I had to do.

After a lot of research I found Tots Play and fell head over heels with what was included in the classes and how much I would be able to help children and their families. I couldn’t believe there wasn’t something like this in our area already.

At Tots Play you and your baby can build your confidence around sign language, massage, yoga, tummy time, music and sensory play. All of this and the opportunity to make new friends while having a lot of fun.

Hannah Gawad

Hi, I’m Hannah, I am both a class leader and class assistant here at Tots Play Bexhill and Hastings West.
I am a mum to two girls and have spent my adult career in and around early year’s education. Since having my girls, I became a massive birth nerd, I have trained as a doula and also teach hypnobirthing! 
I love that Tots Play allows babies and little ones to really explore at their own pace, get engrossed in whatever they fancy and generally rule the place! I am privileged to be a part of something where people come back to and we get to share in their milestones too! 
My next goal is to learn sign language…bring it on!

Jenny Pearce

Hi, I’m Jen, I am a class leader and and assistant for Tots Play Bexhill and Hastings West .
I am a mum to a cheeky boy. Since having my Son I wouldn't want to do anything but work with children. I have worked with Terry at Tots Play since 2020 and early this year (2023) finished my training for class leader. It's a truly wonderful place to work and so rewarding. I am privileged to be a part of something where we witness so much Joy but equally can be a strong support network for the grownups when necessary.
I am also an artist in my spare time and I work in a primary school as an after school group Assistant.  I am always looking to expand my knowledge and do better! The best sound in the world is a child's laughter and I truly believe that making just one person smile every day makes the world a better place.
