Hi, I’m Ayten.

I live in Bromley with my husband and two children.
Before joining Tots Play I was a primary school teacher for 9 years. After having my son, I soon realised that I wanted to be there with him as much as I could for as long as I could. I didn’t want to miss out on those precious first years. I loved being a teacher but the nature of the job wasn’t going to allow me to be the devoted mother I always wanted to be.
I spent my maternity leave taking my son to many baby classes – I wanted him to have these wonderful experiences while he was a developing baby. We enjoyed making friends and having special time together. I soon realised I needed to make a career change so that I could continue these lovely experiences with my son.
My passion is with working with young children and providing them with meaningful life experiences that will aid their development, so when I discovered Tots Play I knew I could achieve my career satisfactions as well as having the flexibility to have a quality family life.

I absolutely love running Tots Play classes in West Wickham and Hayes. It offers you so much more with its varied activities, including yoga, massage, signing, music and sensory play – all in one package! I only wish I had discovered it while my son was a baby!
