Michaela Slater

Hi, I’m Michaela and I am thrilled to run Tots Play in the Bordon and Petersfield area.

I live in Bordon with my husband Matt and little boy Jonah and discovered Tots Play when I attended classes when Jonah was a baby.

As a first time mum I loved the options that Tots Play offered all within one class, and felt relieved that I could do everything I wanted to do without having to compromise. Navigating getting out of the house for one class a week, rather than several, made it seem much more manageable for me, and I also enjoyed meeting other parents with children of a similar age at class.

When I returned to work after maternity leave (and various lockdowns), I realised how important it was for me to give back to my community, bringing people together after such a long time apart. It also helped me realise how important it was to enjoy what I was doing, and that it was time to make a change for myself and my family. I always wanted to work with children, and get so much joy from seeing them grow and develop, so after 13 years working in a finance I felt ready to run my own business, and Tots Play was the perfect solution.

If you are looking for a class to enjoy with your baby or toddler, one that offers baby massage, yoga, sign language, music, sensory play and more all in one fun filled programme, and live in or around the Bordon/Petersfield area then I’d love to welcome you along.
