Those first few months with a new baby can feel like a blur.
You’re soaking them in, trying to learn as you go, and doing your best to meet their every need, all while adjusting to a completely new version of life.
But in the middle of all that care, it’s easy to forget that you need support too.
That’s why we’ve made a few changes to our much-loved Baby Development Course so it not just there to support your baby’s early growth, but to care for you, in your new parenting role, through those all-important early months too.

The foundation of the course, where we cover baby massage, baby yoga, calming techniques, sensory play, tummy time and baby sign language isn't changing and it already includes everything you need to support your baby’s development in a relaxed, nurturing space.
But now there's even more focus on bonding, finding your own calm in the midst of the newborn mayhem, and on simple ways to connect at home, meaning it’s even more of a space for both of you to thrive.
So whether you’re looking to build your parenting confidence, create special moments with your little one, or simply have something gentle and meaningful to look forward to each week, we’re here to support you, just as much as your baby.

A Class for You and Your Baby
Becoming a parent, whether it’s your first time or your fifth, always brings big changes.
This might even be the first class you’ve tried out with your new little one, which is why our sessions are designed to be relaxed, and welcoming in a small group environment. They're a gentle, pressure-free way to meet other families who are at a similar stage, and to ease into this new chapter with your baby.
And if your baby doesn’t join in with everything during class, that’s completely okay, and absolutely expected. Babies work to their own schedule at this stage, so whether they’re feeding, cuddling, or sleeping through a session, you’ll still leave with plenty of ideas for bonding, playing, and connecting, both in class and at home.
You’ll also receive our full-colour course workbook, and access to bonus online resources so you can revisit everything we explore in class whenever it suits you.
What to Expect
Each week, you’ll enjoy special time together while discovering ways to support your baby’s development.
Every baby is unique, so we start by helping you tune in to your baby’s cues, those little ways they’re already communicating with you every day, to help you really get to know each other, before guiding you through a whole range of ways to play and learn together. Throughout the sessions you'll always be encouraged to follow your baby's lead as you explore what they enjoy most, taking each activity at a pace that feels right for both of you.

Here's a bit more on just some of the areas we explore over the 6 weeks.
Baby Massage
There’s something incredibly special about pausing to simply be present with your baby in a way that tells them, I’m right here.
Baby massage, along with our new baby check in routine, gives you that moment.
During the course, you’ll learn simple, soothing massage strokes that helps your baby feel settled, relaxed, and safe in your arms, while also supporting things like digestion and deeper, calmer, sleep.
And new to the course, we’ve added calming facial strokes that encourage even more eye contact and connection, not just for bonding, but to help you slow down too.
Because massage isn’t just something you do for your baby. It’s a lovely way of being in the moment with them, while finding a sense of calm for yourself too.
Baby Yoga
As your baby grows and starts to become more curious and active, movement is a great way to connect, and baby yoga is the perfect way to do this.
We'll guide you through a selection of gentle, yoga-inspired stretches and movements, all set to songs and rhymes to make them even more fun and engaging. support your baby’s development while making space for play and joy.
Yoga helps build strength, balance and coordination, so a great way to support your baby's development in a beautiful playful way you'll both enjoy.
Tummy Time & Calming Techniques
Tummy time doesn’t have to be a struggle, and at Tots Play, it’s anything but.
We’ll show you simple, playful ways to help your baby enjoy being on their tummy, building the strength they’ll need for sitting, crawling and walking.
Expect giggles, beach ball fun, baby “aeroplanes,” and lots of smiles as you play and bond.
Baby Sign Language
Your baby is already trying to communicate, even if they can’t use words just yet.
With baby sign language, you’ll learn a few simple signs like milk, more and play that help you understand each other more clearly, long before speech develops.
It’s an easy, practical way to reduce frustration and build real two-way connection, and you'll be amazed at how quickly babies pick it up.
Sensory Play
Babies are learning through every sound, texture, and movement and sensory play is a fantastic way to support this.
We’ll show you how to turn simple, everyday items into playful experiences that stimulate your baby’s developing brain and offer new experiences in a way they'll love.
You’ll also get new ideas for easy, low-cost ways to play at home, meaning you'll never be stuck wondering what to do, and helping you create magical moments of connection throughout your week.
Time to Connect and Be Present
Among all the bubbles, songs, and playful moments, what often matters most is simply having space to slow down, and be fully present with your baby.
That’s why the course now includes gentle wellbeing check-ins and new bonding focused activities, and more opportunities for you to connect with the other parents on the course, so it truly supports you, as well as your baby.
You'll also learn simple calming techniques to help you both reset when things feel a little off, along with easy ways to tune in, pause, and enjoy the moment, whether it’s during class or in the middle of a busy day at home.
Because while this course supports your baby’s development in lots of beautiful ways, it’s also here to help you feel more confident, connected, and calm, which might just be the very best thing you can do for your baby too.
